St Vincent's under 19 basketball team displayed wonderful skill and determination in a tight and tense basketball match in Carrickmacross. They defeated a very talented side from St Patrick’s Academy, Dungannon to become the North East Region Division B under 19 champions. This team has worked hard throughout the last few years, their effort culminating in this much deserved victory. Captained by Niamh Whyte, the girls now go through to the All-Ireland play offs to fight for the chance to play in the All-Ireland semifinals in the National Basketball Arena Tallaght. Well done to the girls and their teachers Mr Woods and Ms McNulty
