St Vincent’s rugby team is enjoying great success this year. They recently came second in the Leinster North East blitz which was held in Navan. This guaranteed them a place in the up-coming Leinster finals which will take place later this month in Donnybrook.
Coach Edel McNulty explained, ‘This is an amazing achievement for the players, as this is the event we were aiming to reach from the beginning of the year. There will be rugby officials scouting to select girls for the Leinster team so this is a wonderful opportunity for our students. We will keep our fingers crossed for more success at the finals.’
