The Junior Cycle features newly developed subjects and short courses, a focus on key skills, and new approaches to assessment and reporting. The Junior Cycle is a three year programme. Students study a broad curriculum.
In 1st year they study all subjects, in 2nd and 3rd year students study all core subjects, 2 optional subjects and 1 optional short course. All students study PE as a short course.
